Acton Preschool Wins Grant for Playground Enhancement

Mt. Calvary Christian Preschool has taken a big step in enriching its outdoor play space, thanks to a $4,355 grant from Lucy’s Legacy Foundation. The nonprofit school, located on Massachusetts Avenue, used the funds to purchase a new climbing set and bridge to enhance the sensory and gross motor experiences available to the children. Lucy’s Legacy Foundation supports educators and community advocates who are alumni of Wheelock College and of Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development.
