    In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the start of the Revolution, the Iron Work Farm launches the first event in our family-friendly series on Colonial Life, with “Where did that coat come from?” at the Faulkner Homestead, 5 High Street, from 1 to 4:00 p.m. How did people obtain clothing and blankets to stay warm? In this interactive program you will learn how fibers were grown and processed before being made into clothing. CarFit is designed to give a quick but comprehensive check on how well an older driver and their vehicle work together with a focus on comfort, safety, and mobility. Sometimes simple adjustments to mirrors, seat, steering wheel, or head restraint can make a big difference! It is not a driver test.   • I Hiked Acton’s Trails!

    Walk the trails in Acton’s conservation areas with the goal of earning a sticker and a sew-on patch! These weekly walks are a joint effort between Acton Conservation Trust and Acton Conservation Division. We’ll walk a different conservation area weekly, on Wednesdays from April 9 to June 11.
